Newborn Portraits Wavertree – Renesmee’s Shoot

I just wanted to introduce beautiful little Renesmee! Renesmee came in with her mum to our Mossley Hill studio from the Wavertree area of Liverpool, a drive of only 5 to 10 minutes. Renesmee’s shoot took place when she was only a few days old. It was lovely to meet her as her two older brothers had both been into me for newborn their sessions, 1st birthday cake smash and other seasonal portraits. It was great to see her mum again too. Its always like meeting up with old friends when people come back in. I still keep in touch with this lady now – love it when clients turn into friends <3.

The theme…

After having two boys, for the theme of this shoot, Mum selected a girly dusty/muted pink and white lacy look for Renesmee’s photos, which I think she suits.

I used a newborn two-piece-set off-white lace top and pink nappy cover with a selection of headbands for several of the poses, a dusty pink material drape was added to some shots too for continuity. Other poses were shot in a delicate lace drape. And for the last few portraits I utilised a very simple plain white wrap on a plain matching backdrop, on an off-white fluffy, and in a posing bowl.

Renesmee was good as gold, although she was unusually awake for a portion of her photos! But I just love how all her photos turned out! I love how she curls up so neatly for all the curly poses (this isn’t always the case, even if baby is very young). And she just loved putting both hands behind her head when she had her eye’s open haha! Such a little cutie! You can enjoy them too below.
