Elise’s Shoot – Newborn Photography Calderstones. Little Elise visited my studio in Mossley Hill, Liverpool from just down the road near to Calderstones Park. Initially dad brought in Elise for her shoot as mum wasn’t too well and stayed at home with her big brother, but as they wanted some photos holding baby as well as the newborn portraits I booked them into visit on a another day later in the week for some extra shots as a family of four.

At the newborn shoot Dad chose a slightly boho, neutral outfit for Elise’s photos, which I just love her in, contrasting against her lovely dark skin. The romper has a band of crochet textured lace around the neck so I like how delicate it looks and looks fab paired with different headbands for a slightly different appearance on the photos. She was just so good during the shoot and I was able to get all my go-to poses plus a few more. When the day came for mum and big brother to attend too they arrived in all pink to celebrate their new baby girl. They brought a pink headband for Elise so I wrapped her in a pink wrap to match as well!
